Hey pack. This is a reminder of your Pack #208, 2008 dues. You should have already heard about this from your leaders. They are as followsÂ….1st scout $35.00, (if it appliesÂ…2nd scout is 30.00 and 3rd scout in same family is $25.00. These dues are due at the Jan. 7th den meeting. Our recharter is due the next week. If you have not paid your dues we will not be able to continue your membership. Again all of this is info that the leaders have already passed on to you. I will be outside in the main parking lot of the church on Monday the 7th to accept and write receipts for your dues. I will be there between 6:00 and 6:30 and will stay until about 7:30. If you have questions please contact your den leader for clarification. Den leaders please send a personal email or give a call to your members to remind once again. It is imperative that we get these dues in on time. I will also have the pinewood derby cars available if someone DID NOT get theirs at the last pack meeting. If you have already received one then you do not need another one. There are only a few who did not receive one. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and a restful start to the new year. I will see you on the 7th as we start bringing in the dues!!! A little side noteÂ….I deposited our popcorn commission check today $3,228.08. YEAH!!!!!!! That will allow us to give our scouts some great experiences. See you soon.

Hello Pack! We have been given a family that we will provide Christmas for again this year. The family has 5 children. The sizes are: Girl: 12 pants, 14 (med) shirt, 4.5 shoes. 11 yrs old Girl: 7 pants, 8-9 shirt, 1 shoe. 9 yrs old Girl: 6-7 pants, 6-7 shirt, 11.5 shoes, 4 yrs old Girl: 3T pants & shirts, 8 shoes. 4 yrs old Girl: 18 months – 2T pants & shirts, 5 shoes. 18 months
We have a budget as a Pack to purchase items but any donated items will help as well. Please make sure all donated items are new with tags still attached.
We will meet as a Pack Thursday night @ 6:00 at Wal Mart on 27th to shop. We will then go to Broadview and wrap gifts. Please bring wrapping paper and tape if you have it. We will deliver everything to the family on Friday night. Time for delivery is pending so we can make sure the family is home. We will have the time for delivery on Thursday. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call.
This is truly a worthwhile project that Pack 208 takes on every year. I would encourage you to participate if at all possible. This is what Scouting is truly about!

Pack 208

Hello everyone we hope that everyone had a great and thankful Thanksgiving. OK, so due to weather and the expected snowfall for yesterday and today, we did not go and pick up the trailer. So the decoration time for today from 2:30pm to 4:00pm is going to be cancelled we will be decorating the truck and trailer Monday as scheduled from 5 pm to 6 pm.

If anyone has already volunteered to let us borrow decorations please bring on Monday night. I will also be at the church incase this email doesn’t get to anyone. So if anyone wants to talk or bring decorations I will be at the Church at 2:30pm for a while. If anyone wants to bring decorations that we haven’t talked to yet our Theme is a Cub Scout Christmas so our Colors are Blue and Gold. Also if anyone has a thermos the more we can get the better we will have hot chocolate available but we need thermoses to keep it hot. So if you can either bring hot cocoa in a thermos Tuesday night or let us borrow one to put hot cocoa in, just give me or Shea a call.

I will be at the Broadview Baptist Church Annex Building “A” from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm to drop off all order forms and money collected.
